Learning about the disabilities is important but not knowing on how to eliminate them, deprives the child of all happiness in the world. We, in Asha school tries our best to provide every such opportunity for the child to grow.

The various activities being provided in the school are as follows:
1.Sensory Integration
a. Sound stimulation
b. Tactile stimulation with the help of discrete surfaces. Sensory enhancement for outdoor play and awaking the senses walking through various textures bare foot.
c. Visual stimulation with the help of light reflections
d. Swing on loop trampoline.
e. Make balance on small stool.
f. Exercise & jumping on Swiss ball.
It is used to help kids with sensory processing issues, by exposing them to sensory stimulation in a structured, repetitive way. It helps to process and react to sensational more efficiency.
2. Interactive Class. Drawing, coloring, matching, shape & size concept by using Interactive smart board. It facilitates our kids to do free hand growing also the audio visual stories, rhymes, basic concepts of routine day to day life.
3. Harmony with Nature Activities like gardening, picnic at parks, school environment provides an excellent chance to be with nature. Kids enjoy to watch bird & rabbits in birds corner located in school campus.
4. Familiarization with the World. Interaction with other regular schools, outing activities, visit to various places, celebration of each festival and many more activities helps these kids to get familiarization with the world.
5.Skill Development Programme
a.Art & Craft It develops eye hand coordination.
b. Music Attention, building confidence.
c. Drawing & Sketching Creativity among these children.
6.Sports, Yoga and Gym It helps in overall development. It increases physical strength, fitness, flexibility and helps to build confidence and self-esteem of a child.
7.Computer Activity It builds confidence in these kids and Eye-hand coordination.
8. Activity of Daily Living
a. Training in activities of daily routine life makes child independent to a certain extend.
b. Personnel skill – self eating practice, drinking skills, toilet training, taking off shoes & socks, buttoning & unbuttoning.
9. Mock Activity
a. It includes mock class of eatables items, stationary, vegetables & fruits.
b. It provides a chance to understand the money concept and selling & buying process (Marketing mock activity).
10.Vocational training
Main purpose is to make intellectually disables children independent so as to live a dignified life.

a. Pre writing skills – hold & use pencil.

13.Social Skill We make children to communicate & interact with each other, both verbally & non verbally, through gestures, body languages. To greet elders, respect them & follow social norms.
